| I have LOVED taking photographs for as long as I can remember. When I was 13, my cousin Sarah and I would hang a sheet over the closet door so we could have our "photo shoot". I would bust out my neon green and electric yellow 110 film camera and snap away! Just thinking about that time in my life makes me laugh. To me, a photograph is not just about an image on a piece of photographic paper, to me it is a moment, a feeling, a time and place that we want to remember forever. The little moments in life pass all to quickly, it is important to savor them. I see this as I watch my own three children grow, I am amazed at how much faster the world seems to move once our lives are filled with children and family. My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years now and ever year I am in awe of him, he continues to love and support me through all my photography endeavors. It is simply amazing to me that I continue to fall deeper in love with him as time passes. To watch him be a father to our children, and see the kids grow in his eyes is wonderful. Seeing that deep love in his eyes reflected in the hearts of our children is what moves me to create images- images that leave a mark on our hearts and a smile in our souls. It is my hope that my love and passion for family, children and photography will help me to create and capture wonderful moments that your family will treasure for a lifetime. Remember the moments! |
